The Town of Fort Mill Parks & Recreation Department provides overall management of the town’s Parks & Recreation facilities and green spaces. These facilities are Harris Street Park, Steele Street Park, Confederate Park, Doby Bridge Park, Calhoun Street Park, Walter Elisha Park, and the Spratt Building.

Mission Statement
The Parks & Recreation Department strives to develop and maintain all Town parks in a safe and attractive manner. The Department is a professional organization that serves as a catalyst to enhance the well – being and vitality of the people who live, work, play, and visit Fort Mill. We also collaborate with other recreation providers for facility use during athletic contests.
Park Rules
- Park Hours 6:30 a.m. – 9:00 p. m.
- No motorized vehicles allowed in park unless authorized
- No alcoholic beverages, fireworks, or weapons of any kind
- No bicycles, skates, or skateboards, allowed on basketball courts
- All pets must be on a leash
- Small children must be accompanied by responsible adult
- To reserve picnic shelter or Spratt Building, call (803) 547-2116
- The Town of Fort Mill is not responsible for accidents or injuries incurred while using park or its facilities.
- Please help keep the parks clean by disposing of trash in the containers.

The Spratt Building is a special event & meeting center located on Fort Mill’s historic Main Street. Once a bank this elegant architecture constructed in 1911 was recently renovated to enhance the amenities offered. The Spratt Building provides a stimulating atmosphere for an event with a lasting memory. The Spratt Building can host your next event at our exclusive facility.

Harris Street Park

Harris Street Park is a 10 acre park located in the Harris Street neighborhood between Jackson Street and Yorktowne Street. Park hours are 6:30 am – 9:00 PM daily.
The Park offers the following amenities:
- Picnic Shelter with 2 eight foot picnic tables
- 25 people maximum capacity
- Picnic permit hours: 9:00 am – 8:00 pm
- 7 days per week
- Grills
- Children’s Play Equipment with swings
- 1 Lighted Basketball Court
- 1 Lighted Baseball / Softball Diamond / Field (225’)
- 1 Gazebo with picnic table
- 25 person maximum capacity
- Picnic permit hours: 9:00 am – 8:00 pm
- 7 days per week
- Restroom Facilities (Note: Closed 3rd week December until 1st week March)

Steele Street Park

Steele Street Park is a 5 acre park located in the Steele Street neighborhood between Berry Street and McGee Street. Park hours are 6:30 am – 9:00 pm daily.
The Park offers the following amenities:
- Picnic Shelter with 1 eight foot picnic table
- 15 person maximum capacity
- Picnic permit hours: 9:00 am – 8:00 pm
- 7 days per week
- Grills
- Children’s Play Equipment with swings
- Restroom Facilities (Note: Closed 3rd week of December until 1st week March)
- 1 Lighted Basketball Court
- 5 Picnic Tables
- Water Spray Park (Note: Open Memorial Day Weekend – Closed Last Weekend September) ***PLEASE NOTE THE WATER SPRAY PARK IS OPEN FROM 9:30AM UNTIL 8:30PM***

Doby Bridge Park

Doby Bridge Park is a 14-acre park located near the fast growing Doby Bridge Road neighborhoods between Putnam Lane and Whites Road. Park hours are 6:30 am – 9:00 pm daily.
The park offers the following amenities:
- 1 Lighted Baseball Diamond / Field (320’)
- 2 picnic Tables
- Children’s Play Equipment
- Restroom Facilities (Note: Closed 3rd week of December until 1st week March)
Note: Plans are for picnic and athletic fields in the future on undeveloped property on site
Calhoun Street Park

Calhoun Street Park is a three acre park located behind Walter Elisha Park between Self Street and Park Drive.
The park offers the following amenities:
- 1 lighted multi – purpose athletic field (youth soccer and football)
- 1 gazebo with two picnic tables
- picnic permit hours 9:00am – 8:00pm
- Parking Lot and overflow lot is also available on Self Street
- Field Rentals are $25 without lights and $35 with lights for 1.5 hours
Walter Elisha Park
345 North White Street
Walter Elisha Park is a 12-acre park located on North White Street between Ardrey Street and Sidney Johnson Street that offers several amenities such as a walking trail, playground facilities, and a large green space that is home to the Town's festival "The SC Strawberry Festival".
Park Hours are 6:30am-9:00pm daily.
The park offers the following amenities:
0.6 mile walking trail
Children's Play Equipment (slides, jungle gym, etc)
